CAMPBELL, Earl A. – of Mt. Morris, age 78, died Sunday, October 16, 2011 at his residence. Memorial services will be 11:00 AM Monday, October 24, 2011 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Inurnment to follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 9AM until time of services. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Genesys Hospice.
Earl was born June 13, 1933 in Flint to the late Thomas and Ruth (Choate) Campbell. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Earl married Jacqueline Lake on November 3, 1956 in Flint. He retired from Kroger as a meat manager in 1982 with 33 years seniority. He served 8 years on the Mt. Morris Board of Education and was Past President of the board.
Surviving are: wife, Jacqueline; children, Nancy (Winchester) Eldred of GA, Pam (James) Sprague of Clio, Kelly (Ron) Mauter of Mt. Morris, Mark (Debbie) Campbell of Plymouth; daughter-in-law, Judy Campbell of Flint; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; sister, Ruth Babcock of Caro, twin sister, Pearl Grablick of Clio, sister, Mary Ann Ruby of OH; many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by: son, Gary; 5 brothers and sisters, Marie Allen, Ken Campbell, Paul Campbell, Thomas Campbell and Thelma DeLong.
