NORKO, Timothy Joseph- Age 61, of Swartz Creek, died Thursday October 24, 2019. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11AM Saturday, October 26, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 2415 Bagley St., Flint. Father Thomas Firestone celebrant. Visitation will be 4PM-8PM Friday with a 7PM Rosary being prayed at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will also be held 10AM Saturday until time of Mass at the church. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to St. Luke's N.E.W. Life Center, 3115 Lawndale Ave., Flint MI, 48504. Timothy was born September 29, 1958 in Flint, the son of Edward Paul and Jina (Pileri) Norko. He married Cynthia Ploucha in Flint on August 16, 1985. Timothy was currently employed at Koegel Meats for the past 30 years. He enjoyed wine making, fishing, gardening, spending time at his cottage and especially watching Detroit Tiger Baseball. Surviving are: wife, Cyndie of Swartz Creek; son, Timothy "TJ" Joseph Norko and K-9 companion, Lincoln. Timothy is also survived by his parents, Edward and Jina Norko of Flushing; siblings, Anthony (Cynthia) Norko of Allendale, Terrance (Debra) Norko of Ossinke, MI, Teresa (Brian) Palmer of Flushing, Brian (Melissa) Norko of Plymouth; brother and sister-in-laws, Katherine (Ken), Laura (Morris), Michael (Kam)Mark, David (Marianne); many nieces nephews and several great nieces and nephews.Tribute may be posted at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
