BOOTH, Roger “Homer J” Dale – of Davison, MI, formerly of Sanford, MI, age 64, passed away Monday, April 10, 2017. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 1 PM Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI; Pastor Morris Moos officiating. The family will receive visitors 12 PM-1 PM Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, in Roger’s memory.
Roger was born in Midland, MI on May 24, 1952, son of Lila and the late Harvey Booth. He proudly served his country in the US Army from 1970-1977. Roger was employed with Goyette Mechanical, retiring in May 2016 after more than 20 years of service. He was a member of Davison Assembly of God. Roger was a member of the crew for Phatt’s Hot Air Balloons in Holly, MI.
Roger is survived by his wife of 45 years, Barbara (Mayer); 2 sons, Doyle (Jessica) Tech of Brooklyn, Minnesota and Scott (Kim) Booth of Midland, MI; daughter, Dawn (Neil) Hock of Sanford, MI; 2 sisters, Gale Howard and Joan (Jerry) Peoples; many other loving family members and friends.
