DE LA CRUZ, Sharon Middleton, “Sherry” age 57, of Burton, passed away Monday, July 14, 2014 at home.
Funeral Services will be 2:00PM Friday, July 18, 2014 at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc. Pastor James Garfield officiating. Private interment will be held later. Visitation will be Thursday 2-4 and 6-8PM at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the family.
Sherry was born August 29, 1956 in Flint, MI the daughter of Patrick Middleton and Sarah (Dudley) Pyle. She married the love of her life, and good friend, Gary De La Cruz on September 1, 2011. Sherry was a friendly lady with a great sense of humor. She had an open door to everyone and knew how much kindness meant to others. Sherry was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, niece and cousin and will be missed dearly.
Surviving are her husband, Gary; 3 daughters, Lisa Johnson of Burton, Sabrina De La Cruz of Burton, Holly De La Cruz of Flushing; grandchildren, Ryan Back, Chad De La Cruz, Mariah Martinez, Kearston De La Cruz, Joslyn De La Cruz, Ethan Cahill; father, Patrick Middleton of Florida; stepfather, Lee Pyle of Flint; siblings, David Middleton, Nancy Isabell (Donnie), Joni Hayden (Ted), Jeff Pyle (Angi), Pete Pyle (Becky); special aunt, Mary Jo Davis (Marvin); several nieces, nephews, cousins and so many friends who will miss her also.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Sarah Pyle and sister, Mary Middleton. Online condolences may be shared at www.brownfuneralhome.com.
