NORMAN, Carol – of Burton, MI, age 77, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2016 at his residence. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423, Pastor Larry Kluck officiating. Burial, with Army Graveside Honors, will be in Deerfield Cemetery, North Branch, MI. Visitation will be 11 AM-1 PM Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to any Veterans service organization.
Carol was born in Portageville, Missouri on November 6, 1938, son of the late Orie Radford and Hattie (Ferrill) Norman. He married Theda Lewis on June 11, 1982. She preceded him in death on February 15, 2011. Carol proudly served his country in the US Army from 1957-1959. He retired from Buick in 1982. Carol was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Mr. Norman is survived by 4 children, Caroll E. (Robin) Norman, Betty Jean (Chris) Jones, Orie Radford Norman and Tina (Noah) Cox; step-daughter, Kathy (Jim) Reda; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 brother; 4 sisters; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty (Shears) Norman; 3 brothers; 1 sister; step-daughter, Kristine Heyman.
