CONAWAY, JOHN PAUL age74, died Sunday, February 15, 2015 at the Genesys Regional Medical Center. Memorial Services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the Linden United Methodist Church, 201 S. Bridge St., Linden, MI. Pastor Crystal Thomas officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the Church. John was born January 15, 1941 to parents Ward and Myrtle (Horlacher) Conaway. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from the Flint Board Of Education. John loved to take photos of his family and especially his grandchildren at there sporting events and always loved to help them with their school papers. He loved Jim Henson Movies and his special trips to Arby’s for the 5 for 5 deals. Even in his illness he had unconditional love for his family and was always happy to see you. Surviving are wife Lorraine; children Gretchen (Dave) Bush, Trevor (Audra) Conaway; grandchildren Trevor Michael II, Katelyn, David; brothers Phillip (Marilyn) Conaway, Stephan (Hella) Conaway; several nieces and nephews; brother-in-laws Larry (Jean) Adams and Rick (Bonnie) Adams. Funeral arrangements by the Brown Funeral Home. 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI.
