Diana Lynn Lindquist, age 71, of Owosso, formerly of Lapeer, passed away peacefully August 30, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. She was born April 22, 1953, in Indiana, Pennsylvania to Robert and Lulu (Ackerson) Ferguson. Diana graduated from Brown City High School, class of 1971. She went on to earn her bachelor's degree in nursing. Diana worked as a nurse for the state of Michigan for >25 years, retiring in 2012. In her spare-time she loved camping, gardening, tending to her many flowers & plants. She especially loved pranks which stemmed from her witty sense of humor. She was known for her kind heart which lead to her career in nursing, as well as her great sense of humor which brought smiles & laughs to countless people. She made it well known that her biggest pride and joy in life was her only child, Ryan.
Diana is survived by her beloved son, Ryan (Kristy) Lindquist of Morrice; siblings: Janet (Scott) Gambrell of Lenoir, TN, Connie Ferguson of Hart, Chuck Ferguson of Davison, Mark Ferguson of Marlette and Mike (Dianna) Ferguson of Yale. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Bob Ferguson and Mitchell Ferguson; sister, Carol Ferguson and her aforementioned parents.
Visitation will be from 2-6PM Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer. Her funeral service will be held at 6PM Wednesday evening at Muir’s. Pastor Ron Hutchinson will officiate.
