BREWER, Beverly “Lu” Joanne– formerly of Flint, age 61, died peacefully on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at her home.
Memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, December 27, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Robert Wells officiating.
Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Beverly Brewer’s grandchildren’s educational trust, care of Amy Cardinal.
Visitation 4 p.m. Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Beverly was born in Flint, Michigan on August 2, 1958, the daughter of the late Robert J. and Jeanne E. (Brewer) Prevo.
She was a member of Court Street United Methodist Church.
Beverly owned her own print shop for 7 years. She loved scrapbooking, stained glass, and traveling.
Beverly loved her family and grandchildren most of all.
Surviving are beloved children, Amy (Josh) Cardinal and
Robert Jeffrey (Keith Hudson) Wells;
cherished grandchildren, Claire and Emma Cardinal;
life companion, Elizabeth Foster;
sister, Barbie (Cody Melvin) Billings;
nieces, Bobbi Jo Lucas and Brielle Prevo;
great-niece, McKenzie Shivley;
great-nephews, Logan and Mitchell Lucas, and Jullian Prevo.
She was preceded in death by dear friend and former husband, Gene Messersmith; parents, Robert and Jeanne Prevo; brother, Bruce Prevo and nephew, Brady Sies.
