DELANEY, Phyllis Jean- Of Grand Blanc, age 89, died Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 2, 2016 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 11824 South Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc,
Father Gary Koenigsknecht officiating.
Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation 1-8pm Thursday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. A Rosary will be prayed 7pm Thursday evening at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Holy Family School.
Phyllis was born in Flint on November 18, 1927, the daughter of the late John and Josephine (Doyle) Topolinski. On May 8, 1948, she married John Delaney at St. John Catholic Church in Davison and he preceded her in death on April 14, 2012. Phyllis was a very active member of Holy Family Catholic Church and Holy Family School. In 1946 she graduated from St. Michael High School. She was very devoted to her children and grandchildren.
Surviving are children, James and wife Linda of Grand Blanc, Robert and wife Judy of Buffalo Grove, IL, Kathleen Delaney of Grand Blanc, Joseph and wife Donna of Grand Blanc and Joan Delaney of Ferndale, MI;
grandchildren, Kelley, Kara (Brandon) Bryant, Ryan, Jill, Michael and John;
great-grandchildren, Annabel Bryant and James Delaney;
