Frederic C. Smalley, age 87, of Holly, MI, died April 3, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Fri. April 7, 2017 at the Dryer Funeral Home with Garth Crider officiating. Military honors and burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Holly, MI. Visitation will be on Thurs. April 6, 2017 from 2-8 PM. Fred is survived by his son Dennis (Renee) Smalley of Holly, daughter Cindy (Jim) Alexander of Holly, 4 grandchildren; Sarah (Todd) Angevine of Chicago, Mathew (Heather) Smalley of Fenton, Cara (Eric) Dovre of Holly and Emma Alexander of Holly, two great-grand children; Nora and Lincoln Dovre, sisters; Margaret Dunning of Plymouth and Beth Winstanley of Linden and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Doris, brother John "Bud" Smalley and sister Mable Smalley. Fred retired from Fisher Body of Grand Blanc after 38 years. He was an Air Force veteran and a member of the Holly American Legion, Holly Moose Lodge and founding member of HVA.
