KRANZO, Janet A. – of Clio, age 76, died Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at River Ridge Manor. Funeral services will be 11 AM Friday, June 3, 2011 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 520 Butler, Clio, Rev. Eric Cloeter officiating. Burial will be at W. Vienna Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 11AM to 8 PM and on Friday from 10AM until time of services. Contributions may be made to McLaren Visiting Nurses Hospice.
Janet was born April 6, 1935 in Clio to the late John and Helen (Piesko) Montle. She resided in Clio most of her life. She married Calvin Kranzo November 13, 1954. Janet was active in the Sunday school at Messiah Lutheran Church which she loved. She also loved working in her flowers, sewing and being around little children.
Surviving are: husband, Cal; 3 children, Carl (Pam) Kranzo of Flushing, Sandra (Ken) Brown of Cincinnati, Mark (Sue) Kranzo of Clio; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Bea (Don) Ecker; step sisters, Bonnie (Clyde) Miller, Sherry (Bill) Nickerson.
