Grace Carol Weiss of Otisville, age 72, died Thursday August 29, 2024 at Ascension-Genesys Hospital Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Thursday September 5, 2024 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church 5191 Richfield Rd. Flint, Fr. Roy Horning, Celebrant. Rite of Committal will follow at Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive visitors from 2-6 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Grace will lie in state at the church from 10:00 am Thursday until time of services. Those desiring may make contributions in her memory to the Holy Rosary Education Fund.
Grace was born in Flint Michigan on November 1, 1951 the daughter of the late: Glen and Lucile (Kennedy) Ridley and has resided in the Otisville area the last twenty-seven years, spending most of her early life in Clio and Burton. She was joined in marriage to Michael Weiss on May 7, 1983 at St. Charles and Helena Catholic Church, Clio. Grace was a true car enthusiast who enjoyed car shows and was a proud owner of a 1988 Monte Carlo. She enjoyed the thrill of motorcycling and was a member of the Gold Wing Road Rider Association. With her husband Mike she was active participant of the Crossroad Village Black Powder Reenactment Club. Grace enjoyed her quite time crocheting, and was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She retired from General Motors as a Journeyman Electrician.
Surviving is husband of forty-one years Michael. She also leaves sons: Rodney Summers, Christopher (Kelly Pray) Summers, step-children; Kristina Impola, Jeffrey Weiss, Justin Broom and five grandchildren. Her surviving sister Genny (Keith) Priebe, brothers: Gene (Sue) Ridley, Gary (Kathy) Ridley, and a host of extended family and friends. Grace is preceded in death by son-in-law Andy Impola, sister Gayle Marcum, and brother Glen Ridley Jr. Please share your condolences at www.hansenfuneralhome.net.
