Lakeview – Gwendoline Alberta (Ford) Vuillemot, age 75, of Morley, passed away Friday, March 3, 2017, at her home, with family by her side. Gwendoline was born March 11, 1941 in Canalou, Missouri, the daughter of Charlie and Maxine (Miller) Ford. She was raised in Flint (Burton Twp.), Michigan and graduated from Bendle High School Class of 1960. Upon graduation, Gwendoline furthered her education at Baker College. On May 2, 1964, Gwendoline married Eugene Floyd Vuillemot at the Grace Bible Baptist Church in Flint, Michigan. She was a proud and active member of the Order of the Eastern Stars in Six Lakes, Michigan. She was a long-time member of the Linden Eastern Stars. Gwendoline was a past Matron for several years. She also enjoyed working on her house, collecting dolls and spoons, and she loved traveling especially if she could incorporate visiting Missouri into the trip.
> Gwendoline will be deeply missed by her husband of 53 years, Eugene Vuillemot of Morley; two sons Charles (Karen) Vuillemot of Fenton, and Patrick Vuillemot of Rockford; four grandchildren Kelsey Vuillemot of Chicago, Mark Vuillemot of Fenton, Katlyn Vuillemot of Allendale, Sarah Vuillemot of Virginia; one step-granddaughter Chloe Daniels of Howard City; one sister Wanda Cooley of Grand Blanc; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
> Gwendoline was preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Maxine Ford, and one brother-in-law Richard Cooley.
> Funeral services for Gwendoline will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior, at Brockway Wesleyan Church (10951 3 Mile Road, Morley, MI 49336) with Pastor Jeff Lemire officiating. A luncheon at the church will follow burial at Altona Twp. Cemetery. Those wishing to contribute in Gwendoline’s memory are asked to consider Brockway.
