DOYLE, Connie M. – of Clio, age 77, died Friday, November 13, 2015 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday, November 16, 2015 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Rev. Audrey Charlton officiating. Burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 5-8PM, Sunday from 12-8PM and on Monday from 10AM until time of services at 11AM. Contributions may be made to Reverence Hospice.
Connie was born March 7, 1938 in Flint to the late Frank and Lucile (Burley) Pitkin. She was a lifelong resident of Clio. Connie was united in marriage to Jim Doyle on June 23, 1956. She enjoyed travelling, crocheting, birdwatching and spending time with her grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was the family “Cheerleader” at the sporting events.
Surviving are: Husband Jim; Children: Sue (Terry) McIntosh of Perry, Jim (Andrea) Doyle of Flint, Betty (Bill) Argue of Flint; Grandchildren: Michelle (Ken) Maust, Stephanie McIntosh, Kaitlin (Greg) Gates, Jessica Argue and Cody Argue; Brother Karl Pitkin of Grand Rapids; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by 2 sisters, Dee Lester and Ginger Cummings. The family extends a thank you to the staff of Reverence Hospice for their loving care.
