CRICKMORE, Barbara Ann- Age 83, of Flint, formerly of Linden, was called by her Savior to her eternal home December 28, 2016. A Christian funeral service for Barb will be held Friday, January 6, 2017 at 2:00pm, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 5005 McCandlish Rd, Grand Blanc - Rev. Nathan Loersch and Rev. Dennis Himm officiating. The family will be receiving visitors one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions in Barbara’s memory to the Building Fund for Shepherd of the Lakes Lutheran Church - Fenton, Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary - Mequon, WI, or the American Cancer Society - Road to Recovery.
Barbara was born December 22, 1933 in Corunna, the daughter of Howard and Iris (Forster) Watson. She was a 1951 graduate of Corunna High School. She married Alfred Crickmore in Owosso on June 2, 1956. Barbara was a secretary at Carman Ainsworth schools for nineteen years retiring in 1990. Barbara also dedicated sixteen years of service working at the Corunna Bank. She was a member of Shepherd of the Lakes Lutheran Church in Fenton.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Alfred; daughters, Cheryl (Michael) Valus and Danette (Jeffrey) Rubalow; grandchildren, Linden (Valus) (Rev. Seth) Georgson, Nolan H. (Courtney) Valus, Aaron M. Rubalow, and Ellie I. Rubalow; great grandchildren, Isabelle, Adaline, and Adria; sister, Jane E. Rumisek and many nieces and nephews.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and brother in law, Miroslav Rumisek.
