HAYDEN, Kenneth W. – of Clio, age 56, died Saturday, October 19, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, October 24, 2013 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM and on Thursday from 10 AM until time of services at 11 AM. Contributions may be made to the Brad Keselowski Checkered Flag Foundation.
Ken was born December 7, 1956 in Flint the son of John and Frances Hayden. He lived in the Clio area most of his life. Mr. Hayden retired from Delphi in 2006 with 30 years seniority. He was a member of the UAW and the NRA. Ken enjoyed hunting and fishing. Ken was a driver and builder of race cars for over 35 years and was active at Dixie Motor Speedway and Auto City Speedway.
Surviving are: sons, Kyle (Jamie) Hayden, Curtis Hayden; their mother, Bethany Hayden, all of Clio; mother, Frances Hayden of Boyne City; brothers, Edward Hayden and Robert (Wendy) Hayden, all of Clio; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his father, John Hayden in 1991; infant brother, John Hayden; and his first wife, Jana Hayden.
