SHUSTOCK, Irene Marie (Dasky) – of Flint, MI, age 95, passed away Monday, June 4, 2018. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 1 PM Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 2500 North Franklin Avenue, Flint, MI 48506; Fr. Francis Faraci celebrant. Cremation will take place following the Mass. The family will receive visitors from 12-8 PM Monday, June 11, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423 and 12-1 PM Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Flint. A Rosary will be prayed 7 PM Monday, June 11, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church in Flint, in Irene’s memory.
Irene was born in Flint, MI on February 19, 1923, daughter of the late Louis and Helen (Kazyak) Dasky. Irene was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Flint. She loved to play BINGO. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Irene is survived by 9 children, Carol Baker, James (Monica) Shustock, Teresa Shustock, Marie (Larry) Stevenson, Michael (Nan) Shustock, John (Shelly) Shustock, MaryAnn (Andrew III) LaBeau, Lori (Mike) Dawson and Patricia Shustock; loads of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ambrose Dasky and sister, Elaine Kaza.
