GLENN SR., Ronald L. – of Davison, MI, age 81, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at Ascension Genesys Hospital. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Lighthouse Church, 7256 E. Court St., Davison, MI 48423; Pastor David Moody officiating. Interment will be in Meadowview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive visitors from 2-7 PM on Friday, August 23, 2024 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Davison Football Boosters, in Ronald’s memory.
Ron was born in Flint, MI on August 16, 1943, son of the late Thurman and Iva (Lunsford) Glenn. He married Brenda Skinner on August 27, 1976. Ron worked at Buick as a tool grinder retiring in 1999. He was very strong in his faith and loved the Lord. Ron was an avid football fan. He enjoyed watching his kids and grandkids sporting games. Ron never missed a meal when Fish and Chips were involved.
Ron is survived by his loving wife, Brenda; children, Julie (Scott) Etson, Ronald (Marie) Glenn Jr., Kristy (Mariano) Garcia and Jeff Glenn; grandchildren, Mathew, Amanda, Allison, Rilie, Belen, Liana, Talia and Anelen; sister, Barbara Keirns; and many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by brothers, Don and Jack Glenn.
