Lois was born nearly 93 years ago on January 27, 1926 to James and Margaret (Londrigan) Malloy in Corunna, Michigan. She was the seventh of seven children and is preceded in death by her parents and, on December 14, 2015, her husband of 67 years, Raymond.

Lois and Raymond raised their family in Flint and Flushing. Their home was the gathering place for the many children of the neighborhood. As a full-blooded Irish, St. Patrick’s Day was a national holiday in the LaRocque home and green, her favorite color. She was quick with an Irish limerick. She was an active member of Holy Redeemer and St. Agnes parishes in Flint, St. Roberts of Flushing, St. Johns of Davison and Church of Our Saviour in Coco Beach, Florida. She was an adult leader of a Girl Scout troop and an active member of the Women’s Guild and Alter Society of St. Agnes Parish. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, dancing and everything Irish. After most of her children grew up, she worked as a clerk at the Genesee County Probate Court. She and Raymond lived in Merritt Island, Florida for 25 years before returning to Davison in 2010.

She is survived by her children Carol (LaRocque) Diaz of Lorimar, ND; Edwin and Anne LaRocque of Camarillo, CA; Timothy and Sandra LaRocque of Pierce Twp., OH; Nancy (LaRocque) and Robert Moschetta of Monument, CO; Paul and Paula LaRocque of Millersport, OH; Renee (LaRocque) and Thomas Galvas of Murray, UT; Jean (LaRocque) and Donald Schonhoff of Oxford, MI; Joan (LaRocque) and Michael Harris of Traverse City, MI; and Jacqueline (LaRocque) and Gary Paige of Commerce Twp. She is survived by her beloved sisters, Margaret Green and Roselyn King. She has twenty grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son, Daniel, son-in-law Richard Diaz and granddaughter Rebecca Diaz. She is also preceded in death by her siblings Sister Marie Frances, Howard, Bernard and Evelyn Malloy.

Her family would like to thank the excellent loving care provided by the staff at French Manor South, the nurse practitioners of Chronic Care and the nurses of Heartland Hospice in Traverse City.
