SHARP, Coral Noreen - Of Burton, age 80, died Saturday, July 21, 2012 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held 11 am Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 5073 Daly Boulevard, Flint,
Reverend Gary Beck officiating.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
If desired, contributions may be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church.
Visitation 4-8pm Monday and 11am-3pm and 5-9pm Tuesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Rd., Flint. Coral will then be at the Church 10am Wednesday until the time of the service.
Coral was born in Flint on July 29, 1931, the daughter of the late Willis and Leona (Lutat) Shores. She retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. Coral then did volunteer work at the Genesee County Court House and Carmen Ainsworth Senior Center. Coral's intense devotion to her children, grandchildren and family has left a loving legacy that will live on in their hearts forever. She was affectionately known as "Grambo" by her grandchildren and "Midi" to all who loved her. Surviving children are Lynda and husband Douglas Fletcher of California, Orrin Sharp Jr. and wife Wendy of Chicago, Debra and husband Paul Hall of Burton, Paula and husband Steve Castanon of Flint, Jack and wife Stephanie Sharp of Flint and Brenda and husband Donald Porter of Flushing; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Lois Cheesebro-Hodgins and husband Doc.
