LIMBAN, Frances Olene - Of Holly, age 78, died Sunday, January 26, 2020 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
A Celebration of Frances’ Life will be held from 1pm-3pm Sunday, February 9, 2020 at the Flint Farmer’s Market. All friends and family are welcome to attend.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Frances was born in Cullman, Alabama on September 16, 1941, the daughter of Howard and Lorene (Tankersley) Burks. She graduated from Beecher High School. Frances worked for 38 years as a waitress. She loved her cat, Moo. Frances was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed.
Surviving are daughter, Virginia Limban-Jones;
Son, Robert Limban (Toni Montague);
Grandchildren, Jennifer (Danny) Drevon, Rachel (Barry) Hougen, Scott Jones, and Alexis Limban;
Great-grandchildren, Zoey and Landon Drevon;
6 siblings,James (Glenda) Burks, Paul (Barbara) Burks, Shirley Gibson, Dillard (Jody) Burks, David (Millie) Burks and Deborah (George) Cameron;
And many nieces and nephews.
Frances was preceded in death by her son, Charles Julius Limban; granddaughter, Bobbi Jean Limban and son-in-law, Michael Jones.
