Yoneko S. Bayne of Burton, age 67 died Monday December 10, 2012 at Avalon Hospice. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday December 15, 2012 at the Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Rev. Glenn Snider officiating: with private burial at Great Lakes National cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Friday at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Friday by Burton VFW Auxiliary #2777.Those desiring may make contributions in Yoneko’s memory to the family. She was born in Okinawa Japan December 2, 1945 the daughter of Chiei & Chiyo Shinzato and has resided in the Burton area since 1979. She was joined in marriage to Michael Bayne on June 30, 1971. She was a member of Burton VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening and had been employed at the Walker Farms & Greenhouse. She leaves husband Mike, son Gordon & wife Chrisandra Bayne, grandchildren: Adrianna, Madison, Cierra, Samantha, Connor, and Amelia. Brothers, Kazunori and Kazumasa. Sisters; Fusako and Tomiko.
