KASPRZAK Theodore, E. "Ted"-- Age 85 of Grand Blanc, died October 8, 2017. Funeral services will be held 12 PM Monday October 16 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Pastor David Eshleman officiating. Burial at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be 2-8 PM Sunday and 11 AM until time of service on Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to YMCA of Greater Flint, 411 E. Third St, Flint, MI 48503 or Alzheimer's Association, 1125 Linden Road, Flint, MI 48532. Ted was born October 22, 1931 in McCarron Michigan the son of John Robert and Delia (Lawless) Kasprzak. He married Sarah S. Davis June 9, 1967 in Flint. Ted proudly served his country in the Navy during the Korean War. He had resided in Grand Blanc for the past 49 years. He retired in 1985 from the United Food and Commercial Workers Local #40 after over 30 years of service. Ted was an avid hunter, fisherman, horsemen and loved the outdoors. He loved country music, camping, and tending to his garden. He also was a longtime member of the YMCA and Insight Health and Fitness Center, where he loved to swim. Ted was a beloved father, husband, and friend to many. Surviving are: his wife of 50 years, Sarah; 3 daughters, Susan and husband Greg Cooper of Madison Heights, Rebecca and husband Chris Noel of Birmingham, and Jennifer and husband Curtis Hendrickson of Lawrenceville, GA; 3 grandsons, Greg and wife Amy Cooper, Aaron and wife Nicole Cooper, and Patrick Cooper; granddaughter, Abbie Noel; 6 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, Katie Pardo and Teresa Villaire; and 3 brothers, Robert, Barney, and Carl Kasprzak.
