Hagenbuch, Kenneth A., age 95, of Alma, Michigan, formerly of Flushing, died Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Masonic Pathways Senior Living. Funeral services will be 11a.m. on Monday, December 3, 2018 at Flushing Presbyterian Church. Rev. Teresa Peterson will officiate. Visitation will be 2-8p.m. on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Rossell Funeral Home with a 7p.m. Masonic Memorial Service, and 10a.m. Monday at the church until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Elf Khurafeh Shrine Center Transportation, Masonic Flushing Lodge #223, or Flushing Presbyterian Church.
Kenneth was born in Flint, Michigan on August 18, 1923 to Charles and Ada (Wahl) Hagenbuch. He married Virginia Nicewinner on February 1, 1946. Kenneth served in the United States Army for the 101st Airborne during World War II where he was awarded multiple decorations and citations. After his service he remained involved as a member of the 101st Airborne Division Association, as well as the Masonic Lodge #223, Scottish Rite in the Valley of Bay City, American Legion Post #283, Oasis Shrine Club, and Fraternal Order of the Eagles #4141. Kenneth gave back to his community by volunteering and transporting children through the Shriners Children’s Hospital.
Kenneth is survived by his children, Gary (Janice) Hagenbuch, Dale (Karen) Hagenbuch, Carol (Marty) Odette, and Dennis (Anne) Hagenbuch; 11 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Virginia. |
