CASSELMAN, Richard C. – of Clio, age 84, died Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at McLaren of Flint. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. Family will receive visitors at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Sunday, March 12, 2017 from 1PM until 5PM. A graveside inurnment service will be held 11AM Monday, March 13, 2017 in Flint Memorial Park.
Richard was born May 6, 1932 in Flint, Michigan. He married Mary L. Carlson on February 17, 1953. She preceded him in death October 26, 2006. Mr. Casselman retired from AC with 30 years' seniority and was a member of the UAW Local #651. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting, and gardening.
Surviving are: Children: Janette (Jim) Grubb of Bedford, IN, Frederick (Arleen) Casselman of Clio, Linda Lembach of Clio, and Duane (Teresa) Casselman of Clio; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; Sisters: Dorothy Antes and Donna Donnelly; Cousin, Bev Murphy who was like a sister to Richard.
