Neall, Evelyn of Flushing, age 83, died Sunday, April 12, 2020, at her home. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
Evelyn was born in Flint, Michigan on August 29, 1936, the daughter of August and Herta (Weber) Wilhelmi. She married William Neall on April 19, 1958. Evelyn graduated from St. Michael Catholic High School in Flint, Michigan. She attended Nazareth College Division of Nursing, St. Joseph Unit which was later changed to St. Joseph School of Nursing where she earned her Bachelors Degree in Nursing. Evelyn started her nursing career at St. Joseph Hospital in Flint and worked for many years as a Nurse for the American Red Cross. Evelyn enjoyed cooking, traveling, boating, spending time up north and she especially enjoyed spending as much time as she could with her grandson Andrew. Her greatest joy was being with her family.
Evelyn is survived by her husband of 62 years, William; children, Joseph Neall, Jeffrey and wife Lisa Neall, Patricia and husband Andrew Potter; grandson, Andrew Potter; sister, Rosalind Belanger; and nephews, Bryan and Andrew Belanger. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Gerald Belanger.
