VOSBURGH, LaVonne Lou - Age 83, of Fenton, passed away April 10, 2024. A Memorial Service will be held. 12:00 PM Monday May 6, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Visitation 9:00 AM-12:00 PM Monday May 6, 2024 Interment at Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions would be appreciated to The Alzheimer's Association.
LaVonne was born October 7, 1940 in Cadillac, the daughter of Carl and Reva (Loomis) Thompson. She married Harold R. "Rick" Vosburgh in Cadillac on June 27, 1964. He preceded her in death on May 20, 2018. LaVonne graduated from Cadillac High School and later from Western Michigan University. She was a Teacher at Fenton Middle School for many years. She and Rick enjoyed traveling, and wintering in Apache Junction, AZ. They also belonged to various Car Clubs.
LaVonne is survived by her sons, Ted Vosburgh and Jason (Thany) Vosburgh; granddaughters, Jacqueline, Katherine and Kess Vosburgh.
