KEWIN, Mildred – of Burton, age 98, passed away December 28, 2016 at her residence. A Funeral Service will be held 2 PM Friday, December 30, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 706 W. Flint St., Davison; Pastor Todd Frusti officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Thursday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Outreach East or Trinity Lutheran Church.
Mildred was born in New Haven, Dunn County, Wisconsin on November 6, 1918, daughter of the late Carl and Ida (Gunderson) Johnson. She married Homer “Bud” Kewin on December 16, 1938 and he preceded her in death on August 18, 2004. Mildred was currently the oldest member of Trinity Lutheran Church and her faith in Jesus was very strong.
Mildred is survived by her children, Bernie (Dixie), Harland, Dennis, Lynda Bagwell, Pamela Kewin-Glasco; six grandchildren, Tammye MacKenzie, Misty Kewin-Ex, Gina (Cory) Cross, Jason (Ann) Kewin, Stephanie (Aaron) Rubio, Amber (Matt) Block; several great grandchildren; several step grandchildren and great grandchildren; special friend, Rose Madi. She was preceded in death by five siblings.
