FREDERICK, Mary A. -- Age, 91 of Flushing, died June 5, 2015. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Monday June, 8 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Dr. Darrell Foltz officiating. Visitation will be held 11 AM Monday until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the First Baptist Church of Grand Blanc.
Mary was born March 22, 1924 in Centralia, Illinois the daughter of Guthrie and Hilda (Farmer) Pullman. She graduated from Grand Blanc High School and, CMU with a masters from U of M. She married Alexander Frederick on September 23, 1950 in Grand Blanc he preceded her in death on February 25, 2012. Mary was a teacher for Carmen Schools. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Grand Blanc for 70 years. She was a deaconess, she was a office holder for Missions Circle. She was a Sunday school teacher, a member of the Mary Martha, and Women Society. She was a librarian for 50 years at First Baptist Church of Grand Blanc.
She is survived by sisters, Gertrude Virginia Dees of Swartz Creek, Frances Elaine Norman, of Davison; brother, Donald Guthrie Pullman of Florida.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Alexander and sister, Barbara Jean Maxwell.
