It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Bridget Charlesworth, from Grand Blanc MI, on April 24, 2024, at 63 years of age. Bridget was a cherished daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
Preceded in death by her beloved parents, Daniel and Regina Ignace, and her loving husband, Robert Charlesworth. Bridget’s gift of love and laughter lives on through her family. She is survived by her siblings: Debbie (Paul) Harworth (Jackson, MI); Kim (John) Omara (Glenn Ellyn, IL); Dan (Dana) Ignace (South Lyon, MI); and Mike Ignace (Flint, MI).
Bridget was a loving mother to Andrew (Jen) Charlesworth(Grand Blanc, MI), and an awesome grandmother to Chase, Cade, and Ruby Charlesworth. Her love for life was on full display when she was playing and creating memories with her grandchildren.
She also leaves behind her loving boyfriend, John Nemesi (Grand Blanc MI), with whom she shared many treasured moments watching deer and playing with her Grandchildren.
Professionally, Bridget dedicated several years to the East Michigan Eye Center, working alongside Dr. Kalstein, where she was respected and admired by both colleagues and patients.
Bridget’s warmth, kindness, and vibrant spirit touched many lives. Her biggest joy was found in the laughter and company of her grandchildren, whom she adored beyond measure.
A funeral visitation for Bridget will be held Thursday, May 2, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 South Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Michigan 48439. A funeral mass will occur Friday, May 3, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 11804 S Saginaw St, Grand Blanc, Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Bridget’s memory will forever be a guiding light to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten. |
