ALLEN, Joshua Ian - Of Burton, age 41, died Monday, February 4, 2019 at Hurley Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held 2:30pm Saturday, February 16, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Pastor Larry Survance officiating.
Visitation 12:30pm Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Cremation has taken place.
Joshua was born in Flint on July 14, 1977, the son of Lee and Barbara (Holsinger) Allen. He found the love of his life in 1999, Tara Boyke, his wife of six years. Joshua’s greatest joy was his best friend and daughter, Lana. Music made his world go round. He enjoyed being outdoors with his loved ones. He was always the life of the party and he always had an endless sense of humor. Joshua enjoyed wrestling and golfing with his brother.
Surviving are wife, Tara and daughter, Lana;
siblings, Lindsay (Pat) Coggins, Ashley (Dave) Jones, Andrew Allen, Jerid Allen, Patricia Allen;
step-mother, Loran Allen;
uncles, Phil Holsinger, Steve Holsinger, and Alex Holsinger;
aunts, Leeann Holsinger and Pam Snover;
nieces, Talia, Haidyn, Adriana, Kendal and Isabella;
nephews, Patrick, Christopher, Caden and Jason.
He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Pete and grandma, Fran.
