NESTOR, Branson Ray – Of Burton, age 91, died Friday, February 21, 2020 at Regency of Grand Blanc.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, February 24, 2020 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Mike Cheng officiating.
Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery.
Visitation 11 a.m. Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Twin Cities Baptist Church.
Branson was born in St. George, West Virginia on January 5, 1929, the son of the late Howard and Edna (Sayre) Nestor.
He married his wife Marie in Maryland in 1952.
Mr. Nestor enjoyed woodworking and hunting in addition to being a fan of baseball.
He was a member of Twin Cities Baptist church.
Mr. Nestor worked for AC Spark Plug and Delphi for 37 years as a tinsmith before retiring in 1993.
Surviving are his wife, Marie;
daughter, Debra and her husband Mike Coyne;
their two children, Alex and Tyler (Audrey);
son, Thomas and wife Melanie and their two children, Joshua (Abbie) and Ellen Marie;
sister, Margie and husband Fred Calvert.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Edward; sisters, Mary Lou Stein and Thelma Timmons.
