SARTOR, Douglas Jay – of Mt. Morris, age 44, died Tuesday December 20, 2016 at McLaren of Flint. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Friday, December 23, 2016 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Fr. Ken Coughlin officiating. Cremation to follow. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday from 3-9PM and 10AM until time of services at 1PM. Contributions may be made to Humane Society of Genesee County or the family.
Douglas was born September 28, 1972 in Flint the son of Jay and Ann (Panneck) Sartor. He was a resident of the Clio area his entire life. He was a 1990 graduate of Clio High School and earned his Bachelor’s degree from University of Michigan Flint. Doug owned and operated Superior Restoration the past 6 years. He enjoyed golfing and was a diehard U of M Football fan.
Surviving are: Mother, Ann Sartor of Clio; Sister, Sherry Ross of Flushing; niece and nephews: Scott (Angie) Congdon of Fenton, Cameron Congdon of Flushing, Riley Ross of Flushing; Fiance, Julissa Valles of Mt. Morris, and her children, Jace Trafalski and Elin Trafalski, both of Mt. Morris; Aunts, Irene (Sonny) Decker of Flushing, Nancy Hoydic of Fenton; Uncle, Tom (Jeanne) Sartor of Fenton; many other relatives and lifelong friends.
