BEATH, LOIS A., Of Flint, age 100, died Wednesday August 28, 2024 at Vibrant Life Assisted Living
A Celebration of Life service will be held 2pm Saturday, August 31, 2024 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Visitation 12pm Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Lois was born in Flint, Michigan on March 5, 1924 the daughter of the late William and Gertrude Easlick. Lois graduated from Davison High School, Class of 1942. On August 8, 1942, she married Richard “Dick” Beath. Lois was a member of New Testament Community Church, where she taught Sunday School and participated in the Ladies Auxiliary and the Red Hat Society. Lois enjoyed playing bingo, working on ceramics, crocheting, knitting, going to the casino and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Surviving are children, Sharon (Allen) Wicker, Bonnie Dunning, daughter-in-law, Jackie Beath, Roderick (Susan) Beath, Susan (Carl) Peake, David (Elsey) Beath and Larry (Charlene)Beath;
14 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren;
And several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dick in 2005, son, James Michael, son-in-law, Don Dunning, sister, Grace (Les) Thomas and brother, William Easlick.
