GREEN, Margaret L. (Malloy) – of Davison, MI, age 97, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2019. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 AM Thursday, June 20, 2019 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 North Dayton Street, Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski celebrant. Interment immediately following the Mass in St. John Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 4-7 PM Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423 and 9:30-10:30 AM Thursday, June 20, 2019 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kindred Hospice, in Margaret’s memory.
Margaret was born in Maple Grove, MI on March 9, 1922, daughter of the late James and Margaret (Londrigan) Malloy. She married Frank Green on June 1, 1946 and he preceded her in death in 1991. Margaret retired from AC Spark Plug in 1979 after 34 years of service. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
Margaret is survived by 3 children, Michael (Vicki) Green, James Green and Eugene (Jill) Green; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Gary Kjoller; sister, Roselyn King; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Kjoller; grandson, Jay Kjoller; 3 sisters, Marie Frances Malloy, Evelyn Malloy and Lois LaRocque; 2 brothers, Bernerd Malloy and Howard Malloy.
The family would like to extend a very sincere thank you to the nurses and staff of Kindred Hospice and The Pines of Goodrich for their compassionate and professional care of Margaret.
