SHRABLE, Ruby Frances – Of Flint, age 93, died Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Tendercare in Frankenmuth,
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Kevin Thoman officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation 10 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Ruby “Frances” was born in Plummerville, Arkansas on January 22, 1921, the daughter of Alma (Bain) and Lester Woodhouse.
On September 11, 1939 she married Goldman Shrable in Blytheville, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on April 19, 2013, after 73 years of marriage.
Ruby was a longtime member of First General Baptist Church.
Surviving are daughter, Martha Killbreath-Buben (Steve) of Flint;
grandchildren, Michael (Regan) Killbreath of Flushing,
Ronald (Michelle) Killbreath of Burton and
Rhonda (Thomas) Meyer of Frankenmuth;
great-grandchildren, William Killbreath, Carrie and husband Chris Seymour, Megan and husband Daniel Farison, Carson Killbreath, Katie Meyer and Alex Meyer;
step-grandchildren, Aaron and Ian Guevara;
three great-great-grandchildren;
many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her nine siblings, Maude, Weldon, Jewell, Woodrow, Wilma, William, Annie Ruth, Aubrey and Paul.
