Dimitar Y. “Jimmy” Todorovsky - Age 82, of Fenton Township, passed away peacefully Monday July 23 at McLaren Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Visitation Wednesday July 25 4:00-8:00 Sharp Funeral Home 1000 W. Silver Lake Road, Fenton, Michigan as well as Thursday morning 10:00 at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 2341 South Center Road, Burton, Michigan. The funeral will be held at 11:00 at the Church, Father Matthew Butrie officiating. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Grand Blanc. Jimmy was born in Bouf, Macedonia in 1935 to Jovan & Yana (Serbinovska) Todorovsky. In 1956, he emigrated to the United States and became a citizen as soon as he could. He was a life long member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church and married Diane Autry from Monroe, North Carolina on August 22, 1962. He and his brother, David, (Kosta) were in business together for approximately 60 years owning together, Ritz Drive -In, across from Fisher Body, Ritz Lounge & Steakhouse on South Saginaw & Atlas Coney Island on Corunna Road, retiring in 2017. Jimmy took pride in his Faith & his Family and enjoyed spending time with them on Lake Fenton. Those he leaves behind are: his wife of 56 years, Diane, daughter, Mary Yana & son-in-law, Dr. Bradley Burau, of Grand Blanc, son, John & daughter-in-law Marie, of Fenton, grandchildren, Sasha Meyer & husband Dr. Dan, Dr. Alexander, all of Grand Blanc, Zachary Burau of Dallas, Texas, Sophia & Jack Todorovsky of Fenton & Katie Rittman of Owosso, his brother, David (Kosta) & wife, Lubitsa Todorovsky of Grand Blanc and nieces Anastasia & Nick Pirkovic & Diana & Brian Mitevski and their children, Stevan, Phillip, Saso, Anthony, Monica & David, cousins & friends from St. Nicholas Church & Atlas Coney Island. A Special thanks to the staff of McLaren Hospital, especially Julia Briggs ICU nurse. Contributions can be made to St. Nicholas Orthodox Church. |
