BLONDIN, Gary D. – Of Grand Blanc, age 84, died Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at MediLodge of Grand Blanc.
A Requiem Funeral Mass (EF) will be offered for Gary at 10am Thursday, March 20, 2025 at St. Matthew Church, 706 Beach Street, Flint,
Father Anthony Strouse celebrating.
Visitation 1-8pm Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. A Rosary will be prayed 7pm Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Visitation beginning 9am at St. Matthew church until the time of the Mass.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Contributions may be made for Mass Intentions at St. Matthew or Holy Family Church.
Gary was born in Flint, Michigan on June 10, 1940, the son of the late Isreal and Ena (Duso) Blondin. He graduated from St. Michael High School in Flint, Class of 1958. On February 6, 1965, he married Sandra Herrick. Gary worked at General Motors AC Spark Plug for over 30 years, retiring in 1999.
Surviving are wife, Sandra;
Children, Michael (Angela) Blondin, Jennifer (Michael) Lueckeman and Greta (Rexford) Hart;
18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren;
and sister, Sally Brasfield.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Terry Ann Blondin and brother, Lloyd I. Blondin.
