CREGAR, Dalon Andrae – Of Swartz Creek, age 48. It is with great sadness that the family of Dalon announces his unexpected passing on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Hurley Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 11, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road,Pastor Jim Nelson officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a college fund for Dalon's two cherished daughters, Helaina and Kristiana, for their progression to excellence that their father, Dalon taught them to strive for. “A mission that both Helaina and Kristiana are in pursuit of”.
Visitation 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Dalon was born in Flint, Michigan on September 3, 1969.
Dalon is survived by his daughters, Helaina Landenberg and Kristiana Cregar;
mother, Judy Cregar;
siblings, Sherri, Frederick and Wendy (Paul) Rodgers;
many nieces and nephews;
his beloved dog, Moses Lee Cregar.
Dalon was a loving person, a hard worker and an amazing father.
Dalon will always be lovingly remembered by his family, by his “second” family at Hurley Medical Center, where he was employed for nearly two decades and many friends throughout this entire community.
The family would like to extend their extreme and compassionate gratitude to each member and valued friend of Dalon’s in his department at Flint’s Hurley Medical Center, working hand in hand together on a daily basis.
An additional and vital extension of gratitude and love from the family is sent to the entire Hurley Medical Center staff for the love, respect and kindness Dalon received during his tenure as a proud member of their team.
