Lorraine Marie Denman, age 90, of Davison formerly of Lapeer, died Friday June 16, 2017 at her residence. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Wednesday June 21, 2017 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 494 Dayton St. Davison. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski, Celebrant; with Rite of committal will follow at St. John Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 5-8 pm Monday and 2-4 & 6-8 pm Tuesday with a parish rosary Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Lorraine will lie in state at the Church from 10:00 am Wednesday until time of services. Lorraine was born in Flint Michigan on September 1, 1926 the daughter of the late Elmer & Gladys (Grandmason) Valley and has resided in the Davison – Lapeer area most of her life. She was joined in marriage to Neuel “Denny” Denman on March 19, 1955 in Angola Indiana. Lorraine was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Davison, and active member of St. John 50 and over Club. She had been employed by General Motors AC Division for over thirty-one years retiring in 1976. She leave her husband of sixty-two years Neuel “Denny”, her children: Teena & husband Scott Beam, Anita & husband Lawrence Norcross, Rita Beam & fiancé John Gramling, and Lisa Denman & David Martin. She also leaves her five grandsons, one granddaughter, five great grandchildren, her sister Theresa Rivett and a host of other relatives. She is preceded in death by son Raymond Denman, brothers: Harold Valley, Elmer Valley Jr., Norman Valley, Francis “Frank” Valley and sister Yvonne Bois.
