LEBEAU, Olive E. – of Flint, age 95, passed away October 2, 2017 at Genesys Health Park. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Friday, October 6, 2017 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton St., Davison; Rev Fr. Francis Faraci celebrant. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be 12-3 PM and 5-8 PM Thursday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison and 10 – 11 AM Friday at the church. A Rosary will be prayed 7 PM Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Olive was born in Nadeau, MI on August 26, 1922, daughter of the late Frederick and Dena (Paquette) Gunville. She married Lawrence LeBeau on September 5, 1942 and he preceded her in death. Olive was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and St. Mary’s of Flint. She also volunteered at the food pantry at St. Mary’s. Olive was a lifetime member of the YMCA and Haskel Senior Center. She walked the Mackinaw Bridge and in the Crim Race. Olive attended retiree union meetings. She enjoyed exercising with other seniors, gardening with her flowers and especially loved her grandchildren.
Olive is survived by her children, Diane (Jim) Bucy, JoAnne (Duane) Comerford, Dewey (Patricia) LeBeau; grandchildren, Eric Bucy, Laura (Ron) Gill, Justin (Hope) Comerford, Tara (Larry) Mitchell, Brooke LeBeau, Jamie and Yusuf, Chad Jelinski; great grandchildren, Alexandria, Adrian and Anna Gill, Erica and James Bucy, Ella and Gavin Comerford, Austin, Landin and Averie Mitchell, Aubrey, Jaylin, Isayah and Jurney; sister, Betty Graczyk. She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Karen LeBeau; siblings, Louise, Lillian, Peggy, Raymond, Joe, Helen and Virginia.
