GRAY, ERIC N. On Sunday, June 9, 2024, the best of us left the rest of us to muddle along in this plane of existence, and go to a well-deserved, albeit heavily mourned rest. With the certainty that his dogs Toby and Sammy, and his kitty, BeepBeep were all overjoyed to be with him again, we pray that he was greeted and enveloped in the heavenly embrace of his Nan and Pop, Mom and Dad and Bo Schembechler.
Visitation will take place on June 29, 2024 at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 W. Hill Road, Flint, Ml 48507, from 11:00 a.m., until a Celebration of Life is held at 1:00 p.m. Please wear your maize and blue to celebrate with us.
Eric was born in Flint, Michigan on November 12, 1959, the son of Allan and Brenda (Arch) Gray. He graduated from Grand Blanc High School. He then continued his education, receiving his Bachelor's degree. He was employed at General Motors as Global Quality Supplier Supervisor.
Eric was an avid University of Michigan football season ticket holder and fan, and enjoyed superhero movies, John Wayne and Star Wars.
Spending time with those he loved was especially important to him. ''T'was the Night Before Christmas..." became his, following his Dad's passing and he loved and lived his Christmas spirit by making things magical and memorable for the kid in all of us. His cookies were famous to all with whom he shared them.
