CONN, Glenn F. “Sonny” – of Burton, age 88 passed away September 3, 2014 at Hurley Medical Center. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 1 PM Friday, September 5, 2014 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. Visitation will be from 10:30 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Venture Crew 4 or Humane Society of Genesee County.
Glenn was born in St. Louis, MO on June 18, 1926, son of the late James and Helen (Hittle) Conn. He married Elenore Hanson and she preceded him in death in 2001. Glenn played baseball and enjoyed being an umpire. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Glenn retired from Fisher Body.
Glenn is survived by his siblings, Lorraine Lince, Gene Conn, Dale (Carol) Conn, Janet Mozader; grandchildren, Hollie (Frank) Murray, Briana Conn, Nicholas Conn; great-grandchildren, Josh and Caitlyn Schlak, Devin, Dylan and Aubrey Tambs; several nieces and nephews; very best friend, Peggy Sue. He was preceded in death by his sons, Glennie and Garry.
