PADILLA, Benita – of Burton, MI, age 89, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2019. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Friday, April 19, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Greg Rowan officiating. Interment immediately following the service in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 1-8 PM Thursday, April 18, 2019 and 10-11 AM Friday, April 19, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home.
Benita was born April 3, 1930 in San Benito, TX, daughter of the late Eustacio and Mercedes (Salazar) Padilla. She was a member of Judson Baptist Church. Benita enjoyed shopping and sharing food and fellowship with her friends.
Benita is survived by her sister, Sara (Abelardo) Tamez of Burton, MI; 2 brothers, Jose (Maria) Padilla of Burton, MI and Johnny (Shirley) Padilla of Tennessee; very dear friend, Sonia Ward; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Maria Garza; 2 brothers, Juan Padilla and Ubaldo Padilla.
