Unsel, Helen Kay of Florida, formerly of Flushing, age 73, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, October 28, 2015. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, November 5, 2015, at Rossell Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Helen was born in Mt. Morris, Michigan on April 27, 1942, the daughter of Hugh and Harriet (Wilson) Wenn. She married James Unsel on February 11, 1958, in Flint. Helen was the owner of Advanced Innovative Mortgages and was very active with her business in the community. She enjoyed bowling and playing euchre, but her greatest joy was being a grandmother.
Helen is survived by her husband of 57 years, James; children, Tammy and husband Mike Whited, Terry Hameline; grandchildren, James and wife Jennifer Comer, David Vaughn, Clint and wife Melony Hameline; great-grandchildren, Mason, Julia, Kenadie, Tristan, Rylie, Laylah, McKenna; sisters, Trudy Partridge, Ruth and husband Fred Rasnake; brother, Tom Wenn; dear friend, Helen Walker and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents: and sister, Patricia Smith. |
