KORCSMOROS, Leone M. – Of Flushing, age 90, died Friday, January 15, 2016 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, January 18, 2016 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 2415 Bagley Street, Flint, Father Tom Firestone officiating.
Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery 10am Tuesday, January 19, 2016. Those wishing to process to the cemetery, please meet at 9:15am Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Boys Town.
Visitation 3-8 p.m. Sunday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. A Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Korcsmoros will be at the church from 10:30 a.m. Monday until the time of the Mass.
Leone was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on August 28, 1925 daughter of Ernest and Eleanor (Fonder) LeVior.
On September 13, 1952, she married Robert E. Korcsmoros at St. Michael Catholic Church in Flint, Michigan.
Leone was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church for many years.
She enjoyed being a homemaker. She also enjoyed baking, playing golf, crafts and decorative painting. She mostly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving her are children, Jennifer (Joe) McDonald, Jeffrey (Lori) Korcsmoros;
grandchildren, Andrew McDonald and Shannon (Chris) Putra;
great-grandchildren, Jayson McDonald, Lauren Putra and Casey Putra;
sister, Violet Rodgerson;
much loved nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the supportive neighbors, friends and caregivers for all of their care and concern
She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Robert in 2013, and her parents.
