HOOS, Donna - of Davison, age 79, passed away January 4, 2020 at her residence. A Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI. Fr. Dan Scheid officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 6-8 PM and one hour prior to the time of the service on Wednesday. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Cardinal Care Fund at Davison Community Schools.
Donna was born in Campbell, MO on October 20, 1940, daughter of the late John Taylor and Edith (Herbert) Conran. She loved to travel, swing dance, and sew. Donna loved spending time with family and friends, especially her high school girlfriends. She worked for Bentley Community Schools, Genesee County, and sold real estate.
Donna is survived by her daughters, Robin Hoos Ricica and Traci Hoos Taylor; long time friend and companion, Tom Holser; grandchildren, Megan Ricica (David) Kennedy, Lauryn Ricica, and Chessa Taylor; sisters, Glenda (Charles) Willcut, Rita (Art) Arch, Judi Daly, Debbie (Daryl) Severson; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by brother, Jerry Taylor.
