Warren B. Badgero
Age 82 of Owosso passed away Friday, January 8, 2016 at his home.
A Memorial service will be held 11am Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Nelson-House Funeral Home with Kimberly Christison officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2 to 8pm.
Warren was born August 10, 1933 in Owosso, the son of Bruce and Hazel (Britton) Badgero and graduated from Owosso High School.
He married Irma Burley in Laingsburg on May 20, 1967.
Warren loved to watch sports on TV, loved his Blue Grass and played in a Country band through the years. Warren raced stock cars for years and enjoyed going to various racing events and tractor pulls. He was a gentlemen's racer and was loved by all. Warren also ran the M52 Go Kart track and raced go karts for many years.
Warren retired from Universal Electric after 40 years of service.
He is survived by his wife Irma; children Brad (Beth) Willard, Jeff Willard, Andy Willard and Keith Willard (Dori Carnes), Annette Badgero, Mickey Badgero, Randy Badgero and Doug Badgero; daughter-in-law Carme Willard; grandchildren Drew Willard, Teddie (Brett) Phend, Sidney Crandall and Carly Willard, Justin Willard, Lindy (Joe) Matulewicz, Katelyn Willard, Jeffrey Willard, Lisa (Justin) Fox, Nicole Willard, Billy Luckhurst and Konnor Willard, Austin and Michael Willard and Aleta Badgero; 16 great-grandchildren; many other loving family and friends.
Warren was predeceased by his son Gary Willard and his parents.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Great Lakes Hospice.
