JOHNSON, Herbert J. – Of Flint, age 74, died Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Raymond Bennett officiating.
Visitation 1-8 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Herbert was born in Flint, Michigan on April 2, 1942, the son of the late Keith and Vera (Daymon) Johnson and was a resident of Flint all of his life.
He married Patricia Moore on June 1, 1963.
Mr. Johnson retired from GM Truck & Bus after 40 years of service.
Surviving are wife, Patricia;
Sons, Herbert (Roxane)Johnson and
Jeffrey (Donna)Johnson;
grandchildren, Bailey, Tara and Noah Johnson,
Patrick and Nicholas Sanborn;
brother, Eugene (Lois) Johnson and sister, Rita Ballard.
