DICKENS, Michael “Mike” – of Burton, age 75, passed away June 18, 2018 at Genesys Health Park. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Mike was born in Flint, MI on September 9, 1942, son of the late Russell and Jean (McDonald) Dickens. He married Lyn Allen on April 16, 1966. Mike worked at AC Spark Plug over 30 years as a millwright. He was an avid NASCAR fan, loved to watch his favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt, Sr.
Mike is survived by his wife, Lyn; children, Russell Dickens of Saginaw, Alan Dickens of Clio and Kim Olszak of Rochester Hills; grandson, Johnny Olszak; brothers, Tom (Clem) Dickens of San Antonio, TX, Dennis (Vanessa) Kanizai of Savannah, TN and Kenneth Kanizai of Ruskin, FL; brother-in-law, Ron (Carole) Allen; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, William Kanizai.
